Brenn, Nask, Peuquet named
pre-season captains
Pre-season captains for 2008 are Reinna Brenn, Taylor Nask, Kelly Pequet. Their
role will be to guide players through workouts over the summer and get us organized for the fall season. Congratulations to
these deserving seniors.
Soto signs letter of intent
Senior Mimi Soto has signed a national letter of intent to play soccer at Millersville University. Congratulations, Mimi!!

Sign up for Summer Camp
We're sending two teams to the Penn Soccer Academy again this year. If you want to go, you need to act quickly. All
the details are on the Summer Camp page. The camp is for current Juniors, Sophomores and Freshmen. Selections will
be made on a first-come, first-served basis. If we need additional players to fill out two teams, then the camp will be opened
to 8th graders. So if you want to go, you need to do two things immediately: Email the coaches and go to the Penn Soccer Academy
web site and pay your deposit. The camp will be July 27-31. See full details here.
Update: Physicals for 2008-09 season
The PIAA has just made a change for
the 2008-2009 season concerning the physical form.
The specifics are: - All physicals must be on or after June 1, 2008.
- All
physicals will expire on May 31, 2009. We will no longer use the one year from the date of their physical. Much easier.
- If you submit the form for a fall sport and then go on to play a winter
or spring sport, the parent will now need to complete page 5 of the PIAA form. This is the re-certification form. This updates
the emerg. info, etc. Therefore, we will no longer use the emergency form used prior to this.

Varsity makes U-Ville
history
The Varsity made it to the State Tourney for the first time in school history. Even
though they didn't get past the first round, the double-overtime game against Downingtown East that was settled by penalty
kicks was memorable. Great job, Varsity.
8 honored by the
Daily Local
Eight Varsity players have been named to the Daily Local's 2007 All-Area Team. Amanda Soto
made 1st team and Heather Wentz and Reina Brenn made 2nd team. Honorable Mentions were: Amanda Auger, Julie Kepics, Jordan

8 named to All League team; Soto, Rata honored
Eight Varsity players were named to All-Ches-Mont League teams. Mimi Soto was also named to the All Southeastern
Pennsylvania Team and Coach Rata was named Coach of the Year for the American Division. See complete awards on Honors Page.

Champion
The Varsity is
the first ever champion of the newly formed American Division of the Ches-Mont League. Congratulations!
JV finishes
season undefeated
Congratulations to the Junior Varsity for going
undefeated this season with a record of 14-0-2. The JV team outscored opponents 47-4 during its remarkable run.
